The most recent estimates showed that around 3.97 million visitors visited the city between January and March. As a result, Dubai has risen to the top of the international hotel occupancy rankings, with hotel occupancy rates of 82%.

The significant increase indicates a revival of the region’s tourist sector. The city received 1.27 million tourists over the same time in 2021 and in 2022 visitation increased by more than 214%. It contributed to the region’s status today as a leading tourist and business destination.

According to STR statistics, the city placed ahead of London, which had a total hotel occupancy rate of 56%, New York, which had a rate of 55.3%, and Paris, which had a rate of 51.2%.
